Day-to-Day Therapy Breakdown
Therapy sessions do not exceed 2-3 hours with one therapist. Some clients receive 2-3 ‘shifts’ of therapy a day, but the therapist is rotated to maintain attention and novelty. The therapist will arrive at the home and talk with the parent for 5 minutes about the child’s day so far (sleep habits, any unusual behavior, any new skills demonstrated, etc.) then proceed to the therapy area to begin instruction. Therapy sessions involve a mix of DTT (discrete trail training) and NET (natural environment teaching) where skills are generalized.
Frequent reinforcement breaks followed by a period to debrief the parent and finalize notes documenting session progress.
Our ABA therapy program is customized per your child…a day of therapy will include…also include explanation of breakdown and description of levels/intensity of services.
